Second Nazareth Baptist Church was founded using the ideology that the church is the cornerstone of the community. Using the guiding principles of the word of God, Rev. John Meyers, Sr. mastered the art of teamwork and understod the importance of community collaboration.

Sunday service is held each week at 9:00 am at 2818 Second Street, New Orleans, LA.

Youth Program

The youth pogram provides the children of the community a positive and safe learning environment where they can learn about the word of God & participate in meaningful activies.

Pre-Anniversary Banquet

The Annual Rev. James W. Young Gala serves as the major fundraiser for the church. The program features food, door prizes and a silent auction. All proceeds benefit the Youth Program, Helping Hands Ministry, Beautification Ministry, & the Music Ministry.
